Carolyn Andersen-Burgher LLC, MS, LMHC, LMHP, LIMHP has over twenty years of clinical experience as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Independent Mental Health Practitioner in various inpatient and outpatient level of care settings. As a native resident of the Council Bluffs/Omaha metro area, she remains deeply honored and inspired to serve the local residents throughout the years.
She has extensive experience providing teens and adults with individual, couples, group, psychoeducation, employee assistance, and family therapy. Brigette Maas LLC, LISW, LCSW, LMHP, RPT began her career over a decade ago in the medical social work field. While working in Oncology, Medical-surgical, Emergency Department, ICU, NICU, and Labor and Delivery units in the Omaha area, she enjoyed connecting patients with support and community resources.
Because of her passion in mental health and recovery, she transitioned to partial and acute psychiatric settings. After completing her play therapy certification, she embraced an opportunity to open a private practice with Carolyn Andersen-Burgher, serving children, teens and adults through individual, group, and family therapy in 2008. Brigette has extensive training in trauma and its impact on the brains and lives of children (level two of EMDR training, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and is a Registered Play Therapist).
In the outpatient setting, she also enjoys facilitating groups in area schools and teaching play therapy techniques to professionals in the counseling field. She feels inspired by the role creative mediums play in the healing process of the individuals and families she works with.

Laura Kinney LLC, LISW, LCSW, LMHP, PLADC Laura Kinney LLC, LISW, LCSW, LMHP, PLADC has her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Creighton University and a master's degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Nebraska Omaha. She completed training with Creighton University Medical Center, and clinical training at Heartland Family Service in Omaha as a student and outpatient therapist. Previously, Laura held positions as an in-home family support worker for Child Saving Institute, and as the coordinator for the domestic violence/sexual assault crisis hotline program at the former Omaha YWCA. She holds dual mental health and substance abuse licensure, and has training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She has completed extensive education and training in the assessment and treatment of substance abuse disorders. She works with families, individuals and couples with a variety of modalities, as well as providing integrated evaluation services.

Katie Ladd LLC, LISW, LCSW, LMHP, RPT was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. She has a Master’s degree in Social Work from The University of Nebraska at Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska. Katie is a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LMHP), Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She is certified in providing Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP),and is a Registered Play Therapist (RPT). Katie currently sees children and adults. Previous to working at Kanesville Therapy, LLC, Katie was an early childhood mental health consultant and outpatient therapist at Child Saving Institute in Omaha, Nebraska for four years and worked as a healthcare associate at Heartland Family Service Therapeutic School of Council Bluffs, IA for three years.
